Why Retreats Are a Must-Do for Single Mums
Single motherhood is a journey filled with lots of love and strength. But at the same time, it comes with a lot of sacrifice. Balancing work, parenting, and all the responsibilities that come with it can be incredibly challenging and exhausting. And in the midst of this demanding lifestyle, it’s easy for single mums to overlook their own well-being.
For me, taking out a few days once or twice a year and going on a retreat is something that really kept me going during my ten years as a single mum. And I continue this tradition now. I love the opportunity to switch off, rest, relax, and rejuvenate. And I come back a far better version of myself.
Finances can be challenging as a single mum, but personally, going on retreat is something I have always prioritised because I see the value in investing in my own self-care.
